Wow, Undercity is hard as hell
Just a comment:
I "resurrected" an old toon that I hadn't played in a while, a Factions toon that beat Shiro and won the game.
I took a jaunt through the Undercity, and wow! The Afflicted appear out of nowhere. At one mob location, I killed all but one Afflicted, then suddenly there were four more. Not from another mob, which was across the bridge, but four new ones that literally appeared on the screen at the center of my aggro. It reminded me of the beasties popping up through the floor in Vizunah, with the exception there weren't any holes for them to pop up from!
I killed them, moved on, another mob. Same deal. Killed a few, then a ton of them appeared. Again, not from another mob.
I thought they were using Spirit of Life, but that wasn't it. Rezzing their comrades? I don't remember them doing that.
My henchies couldn't handle it, I said to hell with it, and set that toon back in his storage box. Gotta get me some heroes I think. Sister Tai has ZERO energy with 6 henchies, so come on Dunkoro and Tahl, come on, here you go. I got some nice dog bisquits for ya . . ..

There are holes in the ground here and there, Afflicted will pop up out of those sometimes when you get close.

Afflicted Ritualists will often use [skill=text]Flesh of My Flesh[/skill], if you don't kill them fast you can end up fighting the same monsters, including bosses, over and over.

The toon I'm referring to is ritualist, and I re-discovered WHY I put him into the storage bin. Ritualists are crap. Paragon got nerfed, and they're crap now too.
Why do I pick the classes that get the shaft?
lol <-- yes, that's a joke for those who love those professions.
Like I said before though, there were no holes where these baddies were popping up. I can see Flesh of My Flesh though being the culprit, but how do they manage 4 or 5 at once?

Just because you can't play them well doesn't mean they are crap.

Don't play them well enough? That's called a non sequitor; your comment has nothing to do with what I said.
I beat Factions and Prophecies, and I am now doing Nightfall with the Rit and the Paragon. I play them well enough to have about eight different builds on each, but they just aren't interesting enough to be top flight professions FOR ME TO PLAY. If you like your Rit and Paragon, then say that. I consider them crap at the moment. Or maybe I should call them diluted?

fair enough. you are aloud not to enjoy a particular class or consider them inferior without being called on it. and i can understand your dislike for those particular classes.

but in the previous post, you didnt mention that was your opinion, you stated it as fact (notice "are" and "they are". declared facts will always be questioned, especially here in this wonder system of tubes, sometimes called the interWEB.

I've always tried to avoid the undercity if possible... On the very rare occasions when I've had to go down there, I've just run away like a little girl... Let the henchies take the hits from the afflicted while I push on to the exit :P

I've always entered the Undercity from Vizunah Local, so it's no big deal, a few quests are done from that end too

O RLY?
I'll just not bother arguing. I'll just smile and nod knowing both my Rit and Paragon are just UBER!
Also, Afflicted Ritualists don't use the Binding Ritual Restoration. They only resurrect using Flesh of my Flesh.
